Dating in Canada is very bad, The dating scene here is very tough, in don't even think there's a dating scene here, it's as cold as the weather here, so we have our struggles even worser than our neighbors to the south.

Never heard that. Temperature is a detractor if your only method for dating involves being outside, on a bad day in winter...Having lived on the Canadian border for several years, I've met quite a few Canadian men. Polite, chivalrous, unassuming, can handle his liquor --all things I would say to describe those I've met. My friend's favorite description was: "lumbersexy" (beard and flannel). The kind of guy who wouldn't have a problem apologizing if he thought he did something wrong. I can't picture one saying they have a tough time doing anything, actually, not complainers.

Maybe it's you?

I haven't run into any issues in the past 29 years since I first started dating. Where do you live and what exactly is bad about it?

Then how are all those Canadian couples meeting, living together and/or marrying?

Odd to blame a whole country just because you can't get a date....

It's amazing how far some people are willing to go in terms of not facing the truth about themselves.

Canada is a large country, can't imagine the whole country is as you say.

That's not what I've heard from my friends in B.C., OP. And these are very plain, average women. In that respect, it seems better than in the US.

I have a couple of friends in BC who are having serious troubles in the dating realm. I should totally link them to this thread- I'm sure they'd be happy to know that it's all about their country.

I'm not sure how one could make such a wide generalization about an entire country, I can see a specific city might suck, but to make such a sweeping statement seems rather odd to me.
