I stopped shaving since December and have a decent full beard.
It's very thick and dark on my chin, thinner on my cheeks and sideburns and somewhere in between on my mustache. All I trim is the outline/hairline of my beard. I've had compliments that it's a nice looking beard, that it suits me. However most of the comments I get are from guys. Perhaps they wish they could have a beard like me but are afraid women wouldn't be as attracted to them.

Beards are way better, unless they are so short they cause whisker burn. I've always preferred them, even as a clueless teenager.

I'm not sure which length can do that, but I do know what length feels like prickly sandpaper.
After 5 weeks my beard was soft enough that I could forget I had it, or as comfy for me as a second-skin.
Recently I discovered that when damp, it can be almost as soft as puppy-fur.
I looked it up on Wikipedia.
Never heard of the movie before but maybe I'll watch it sometime.
Some people have called me Grizzly Adams but never knew who they were talking about.
Or when I put on sunglasses, "Hank Williams Jr." (Are you ready for some football? )
No. Just no. Except for the 27 yr old w/ a goatee at work, lol, he had a baby face so- it looked adorable....trying to look older.
