Girlfriend's friend had a barbecue last night. Friend is the type you'd normally say "has a good personality." Probably 40, 50 pounds overweight, not really cute. Actually, personality isn't fantastic in that she's obsessed with money. She had a guy with her who she met online. Seemed like a good dude, pretty decent-looking, carried on a nice conversation when it was just the four of us.
He goes to the bathroom and girlfriend starts pressing her for info- wow, what a catch, is he the one, etc? Nope, he isn't the one- it's her second date with the guy, and she's got 4 guys going at once. Incredible!
I hope to God I'm not single again, but if I am I sure won't be trying online. If this woman can have her pick of guys, I'm scared to see what the competition would be like for an attractive woman.
You know, new poster, that all women find 80% of all men unattractive? and most llikey the 20% of attractive men don't use OLD, so what kind of 'pick of guys' you think women have online?
No it doesn't mean all women juggle men like this but it means even unattractive ones can juggle attractive men if they want.

Um no. The OP said the guy was "pretty decent-looking." That does not mean the guy was attractive, especially if the OP is a man describing another man.

You don't have to believe it. I've been very lucky, she certainly is my better half. But I met her at a volunteer event. I shudder to think the attention she would get online (by the way, she posts here quite a bit).
Just empathizing with the guys who talk about the numbers game online. Trust me, if her friend is getting that kind of attention not even being nice or attractive, it's not a game worth playing.

Normally I'd agree with you. However, if you spoke with this girl for just five minutes, you'd see that it does. The very idea she would be pursued by multiple normal guys is absolutely stunning.
