I'm a lesbian, and I've had partners cheat on me in the past; while one or two others have been quite upfront and suggested "oh actually, I like to swing! Didn't I mention that?".
I guess some people are never truly satisfied with their lot; or are perhaps a little paranoid they're missing out on something.
It's been going on for centuries, and will continue to do so for centuries more. Fact of life unfortunately.
Cheating is one thing while being able to pay a bill via a Sex act is something only a woman can do.
Reading all the info is one thing while a personal situation or knowledge is another thing.
Being in the auto repair trade my next door neighbor who was a MB specialist had a all night visit from a young lady after he repaired her auto.
In my case a very young girl/lady was moaning about her not having the funds for a needed engine repair by me on her car. She was moving her head around in a way waiting for me to offer a solution......I did not take the bate so it is out there more then people realize.
Another incident that I know of was where a mechanic was on his back under a young ladies car and she squatted down exposing herself to him and suggested a trade in exchange for the repair bill. He declined saying he was a married man where she replied that she was also married so what was the big deal to worry about.

I have a lesbian friend who is a career UPS delivery driver. She has some great stories stories from her younger single years.
Women certainly have more opportunities, or quantity in regard to options, but that doesn't mean they are being approached by the quality of men they would consider. If you took into consideration the availability and how easy it would be for a woman to have an affair, it shouldn't be a surprise that they are having affairs just as often. I don't think men and women are wired any differently when it comes to desires and needs, but they've been held to a higher standard for centuries. Promiscuity was frowned upon for women (and still is in many ways) and only until recent decades have societal constraints and expectations loosened up some. I think women are probably more discreet about it as a result.

According to CD research, it should be much tougher for women to cheat - since they find 80% + of men in the world unattractive.
I remember that thread/subject. I wasn't buying it, but whatever. I guess I live in the land of pretty people because there are lots of nice looking ladies and guys for that matter here in La La land.
I think women WANT to cheat as much as men do. Motherhood gets in the way of women cheating at a certain point in life but I know of many moms who had thoughts of flings with dads at the kids' school. The PTA just isn't hacking it!
You're not kidding me. I work out of the home, and have done so for 15 years. So I was always the designated person to pick up kids to school, run them to ballet, violin, Cub scouts, baseball, soccer, lacrosse, band, you name it. And I can't tell you the number of times I've had an overture thrown at me.
The most blatant was the time I was waiting on my son at baseball practice. We had just moved into the school system and I knew next to no one. So I was sitting on the bleachers reading a book when I suddenly feel a well-honed fingernail travel, up my spine. Startled, I sit upright and turn to see a woman straight out of central casting, the hot vaguely unsatisfied housewife.
"Hi, I'm Laurie. Who are you?" We exchanged introductions, after which she asks me all kinds of personal questions. The other moms were sitting around listening and all introduced themselves. Mind you, I was absolutely appropriate in all my answers. But I go home and recount it to MrsCPG, who says, "Oh, she was definitely hitting on you."
So Laurie and the rest of the moms would talk to me during practices, but would ignore me when my wife came to watch the games.
