I have always thought the people who use those acronyms online to refer to family members are a little creepy. They are usually the ones who attempt to monopolize online chats with talk of their families too.

Dear... darling... same sugar coat. I wonder if people using it would say the same offline... Perhaps they just use it as shorthand, not giving it a second thought.

I always refer to my exhusband as dick head so that is the term I substitute for DH when reading the posts.

at some of these. When I first got on, I had NO idea what DH was.
I did know most of others like IMO, LMAO, etc so what does that tell you?
