I have always thought the people who use those acronyms online to refer to family members are a little creepy. They are usually the ones who attempt to monopolize online chats with talk of their families too.

You're going to laugh...but, the first time I saw "stbx", I thought it stood for "sh*tbox." I don't know why!! "Soon to be ex" makes much more sense, of course...
