lmao, apparently the Navy produced this video in the 1960s for Midshipmen.
A midshipman is an officer in training; either they are attending the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, or they are attending a civilian university and are engaged in the ROTC program. In both cases they become Naval Officers when they graduate.
I was enlisted; I was a STS3(SS), which means "Sonar Technician Submarines 3rd Class Petty Officer (Qualified in Submarines)". That is paygrade E-4.
Anyway, so each section of the video takes a scenario you may encounter on a date, and it shows how to do it wrong, then shows how to do it right. Check it out.
Evidence that mainstream dating advice for men never changes. It tells you how to treat an attractive woman on a date, but it never explains how to get such a date with an attractive woman.

Be good looking. Be attractive. Don't be unattractive.
How about just being your natural self instead of playing games?
Good point. That way, when Guy #1 goes ahead and shoves his way ahead of her on the stairs, opens her door and then just darts away (psych!), lights his cigarette with the candle on the table and shoves the coat over the back of her head and screws up her hair, she knows NOT to sleep with him, rather than being tricked into thinking he's a nice person via a lot of phony manners.
Guys, ALWAYS be yourselves so we can weed out the nightmare personalities and keep our legs clamped shut.
