Petrol, lorries, boot, bonnet, it's all cute to us yanks. Y'all even drive on the wrong side, heehee!
Not in Japan we don't! LOL.
Ahhhhh I see ( ) LOL! this reminds me of that bit in " love actually " the film, when the English bloke travels to USA to meet the lovely women over there and goes through the differences between different words
Giving those Mazda Miata's a once over. The newer models aren't looking too bad, can get a pretty good deal on one. Mrs. Chow is wanting a convertible and I'm fighting vehemently against it, but I'm giving them a once over just to check them out.

I would look at the Fiat 124 Spider. A lower base price and a more powerful turbo engine.

The first two cars my older bro bought were Fiat Spiders. One of them had the hard top you could pop off to make it a convertible. We had fun going down to the beach in that thing back in the summers of the mid-80s.

I'm a big Ford pickup guy. Diesel, 4x4 etc... But I dig that new little spider. It would be a fun ride.
I also would like a Jeep Wrangler for a run about play in the hills run trails machine, too.

Is it true that all the friends and acquaintances of a pickup truck driver assume they have a free local cartage driver at their disposal? I'd be worried about that. I had to borrow my dad's van for a while after my car got totaled in a hit and run, and I was immediately hit up by a neighbor to help her granddaughter move her stuff out of an apartment and into a storage unit. I did it because I really like my neighbor, I just find this a bit strange.

Not so much around here. It seems everyone has one or has a friend who has one. Usually, I'm hit up to pull a trailer. Last time a friend bought his pickup but didn't have the right hitch installed yet. So I yanked it home for him.

Where is your 'here'? My here is so cal, and every other driver is a dooshy type in a Prius. I sincerely believe driving a Prius forces you to drive like a doosh. These same drivers, if they were put into another car, may actually know how to drive for all we know. At least, that has been my observation thus far.
