I was using an ice pick to break up some ice in the ice tray. I was in a hurry and accidentally stabbed one of my fingers. I jammed it really good. I hit the bone like a big dawg. Lol, not much bleeding but the swelling is taking off. Got ice on that bad boy. Gonna be sore as hell tomorrow.

An old retired couple was sitting around the kitchen table on morning. The husband announces that he is going to doctor for a viagra prescription.

The wife promptly states she is going along, too.

Husband asks "why?"

"For a tetanus shot!"

"Why do you need a tetanus shot?"

"If you're going to stick that rusty thing in me I better have my tetanus shot!"

In sad news: Bill Paxton passed away this morning. Fine solid actor.

No, not my Chet. I couldn't believe my eyes when I read the news this morning. For me he will always be Wyatt's older brother. 'Did you spit in this?!?'

Strange. It's sad to go out like that. I for some reason thought he was closer to my age, I didn't know he was 61. That's still too damn young to go. My mom went at 62 and that's just too young to me. I suppose we'll always not want a loved one to go, but IDK, the low sixties just ain't right. Mrs. Chow's dad was 90. Now that's a good long run. LOL.

We watched that Brit show Ab Fab and we really like it. They recently came out with a movie version of the show and jeez it was god awful. I saw on Netflix it's getting like one and half stars. I broke down and grabbed it yesterday at Redbox and we had to turn it off after about 20 or so minutes. We never hardly turn off movies, but this thing is a major dud. I don't recommend it to people who are fans of the show, this thing sorta left a bad taste in my mouth.

Speaking of watching things, we're going to do the whole Oscars thing this evening. The red carpet shenanigans is starting up pretty quick here.

See, I loved AbFab in the 90s. The movie wasn't groundbreaking, but it was exactly the sort of thing a fan of the show would expect. I actually saw it in the theater, which was full of middle aged women and gay men. It was super fun.

Like I said we really liked the show but we just couldn't get in to the movie. To me it just wasn't working.
