I just made chocolate croissants (not from scratch). Pillsbury crescent rolls stuffed with a square of dark chocolate.
If you've got a Trader Joe's close by, pick up a box of their chocolate croissants in the frozen section, that you proof overnight and bake in the morning. I brush the tops with beaten egg before baking for extra shine - these are the best tasting croissants I have had this side of the Atlantic Ocean. They also have an almond paste filled version which is also great but my kids won't touch them so I stick to the chocolate ones.

Okay, I'll definitely try those, thanks. And I love almond, so I'll try both.
So I'm at the deil counter trying to get a thickish piece of ham. I tell the lady I want one thick piece about a quarter inch or so maybe a little bit larger. She then cuts off a thin slice. I say again what I needed. We go through about three slices, she cuts off a piece that was still to small. I said screw it just give me two of those. Lol, she must have had men lying to her about measurements over the years.
Made pickled eggs today. I also plan to dye Easter eggs and then make deviled eggs out of them. Today I heard someone say they make deviled eggs out of pickled eggs. Sounds like that could be interesting, but I think I'll just keep them separate. Has anyone else ever had them that way?
