Ok, anyway!-- I texted her and asked: "So what are you doing?" She replied: "I'm at an Iron Maiden concert, texting with my mother."
Pretty cool, huh? I'm going to have to keep that one.
Nice of her to text you from the show to assure you that she's not dead in a ditch.

My mom used to call me like clockwork every Thursday evening. Lately she hasn't, so sometimes I forget how long it's been since I talked to her. A few weeks ago I get a text from my sister scolding me that I haven't called mom, but mom's the one who flipped the script. Not me.

Dead in the ditch, that's all us mothers worry about!
Yeah I try not to be my mom, when I do remember to call her it always starts with a guilt trip about not calling her...

There is an all female Iron Maiden cover band that is called "Iron Maidens" LOL, those clever gals. Anyways, they bump around the local LA area and from what I hear they are pretty bad ass.

That would be cool to see!
Yeah my daughter said there were lots of old people at the concert last night, and she should've asked me to go with them.

😸

Glad to hear that she is okay, and your fears were unfounded, RbccL. I've had that feeling of dread before, and it's not fun.

My son has a tendency to live in places without cell phone reception. Drives me insane.
