I haven't heard from my daughter for a few days, which is strange. She moved out a year ago and every once in awhile I get a scared feeling, like when she was 3 and wandered away from me at a gas station. Hard to control myself. I was a helicopter Mom. It wasn't easy to stop that.
Ok, anyway!-- I texted her and asked: "So what are you doing?" She replied: "I'm at an Iron Maiden concert, texting with my mother."
Pretty cool, huh? I'm going to have to keep that one.

There is an all female Iron Maiden cover band that is called "Iron Maidens" LOL, those clever gals. Anyways, they bump around the local LA area and from what I hear they are pretty bad ass.
