My computer finally crapped out, so I'm using an old laptop my friend gave me, until I can replace it next month. This thing is still running on windows xp, and the last update was in 2002! I didn't even know there was an Internet in 2002. Which is alarming, considering my job at that time "required" computer literacy, lol.
I liked XP. I'm thinking I should buy a cheap laptop. It might be handy once in a while. The iPad and iMac serve me really well. Sometimes I need a different platform to get more done. Like twice a year.
The only thing worse than computers to shop for is a car (which I prefer to do every ten years). I'm starting school in a few weeks so I need to buy a new laptop. Ugh.
As much as I like cars, I really don't like to actually buy cars.
