Has anyone ever had their phone number spoofed? I looked at my phone after work today and I had a couple of angry voicemails from some guy telling me to stop calling him and that he doesn't want what I'm selling and that he's going to report me to the FCC. Thing is, I never called this guy once, let alone several times. I looked online and this is apparently a thing with scammers, but there's really no good way to deal with it other than to wait it out or change your number. It's not actually coming from my phone or my account, and I hate the idea that someone using my number is out there making calls and pissing people off.
This happened at a place I worked at ,we had to change our number.Lots of people were calling and complaining that they were getting the work number. We just changed a number and it stopped. You can also report the number online as spam caller or telemarketer. But I guess you can't report your self. Lol!
