I hope yours is very very merry!!
Sounds like a good plan. I like to eat before I go to eat too.

On the mom front each year the holidays get a bit easier. We've got about 3 or 4 people in our family that all passed near a significant holiday, but as time goes on you do better with it.

Your mom is there, too, knowing you'd make a fine hostess.

Yeah, one year before we went out to a restaurant on her bday, my grandmother said, "Let me go put my eatin' pants on..." LMAO

I'm glad it gets better, Chow. Y'all have a good one !!!

Went and test drove a couple of cars today. Got to break down and buy something newer and more reliable for the work commute. Trying to go small and inexpensive and good on gas. Everything in my price point for small cars are just boring and blah looking, no offense to those that have small economy type cars. I do like the KIA Soul and XB out of the smaller car group.

I've been hearing good things about the KIA Soul and the Scion Xb. These two cars are sorta odd and quirky but at least they are somewhat different and sorta stand out from the crowd, although they are quite boxy little suckers. LOL, anyway drove the Soul and damn it felt like riding in a lawn mower. Had a weird pause as you begin to accelerate, it was sorta strange. I asked the car salesman about it and he said, it's just because it has such a small motor that it how it works. It was sorta odd and a little off-putting, not that bad, but noticeable. Maybe when you drive it a while you get used to it, I don't know. The guy said that it has a 1.3 liter engine and that would probably explain it. Reason I looked at it was how great the gas mileage on it is. The guy also asked me if I remember seeing those cute commercials for the Kia Soul with those hamsters driving the car.

I thought to me self that it's good thing they're hamsters, that's about the only load that engine could handle.

I got a FB friend and she swears by hers. I suppose I should keep my review about the car to myself.
