This is spot on. I need the man in the middle. I can't be someone's everything. Well not to someone I did not give birth to.
Speaking as a middle guy. I wouldn't put up with your flaws. I wouldn't want to do all your chores and be an instant father just because we were dating. When I did date a few single moms it was always a long time before I ever met her kids. In fact one I dated for 2 months and never saw her kids.
Most single women don't bring bfs home one after the other like they are trying on shoes lol
A lot of women who think they don't have men because they are too "strong" are just batcrap crazy.
It's like men who think they are the nice guy.
Having a man is not the issue. I can replace men in my life in about 5 seconds, because usually they are already circling waiting like vultures. Finding what I want is another story.

Rarely happens. But I would, unless I found out they say it to most everyone, then I knew it had no meaning at it would be worse than if it was never said.
