There's this girl that I really like. We've known each other for a few years. We hang out sometimes and she'll invite me over to her place. We'll sit and cuddle and watch tv. Yes, sometimes things get a little physical. Some making out and some very heavy petting. But we're officially not in a relationship. She'll call me ask ask if I want to come over and sometimes she'll ask me to stop by the store or McDonald's and bring her something.
The other day I asked her if I was to ask her out on an official date would she go out with me. This was her reply. She said that she would go out on a date but she wouldn't date me nor would she want to be in a relationship with me.
What kind of a reply was that and how should I take it? Back off from her or keep doing what I'm doing knowing it's not going anywhere?
