I should probably attend atheist/agnostic events. But there's no such thing as atheist church. Non-believers normally do not talk about beliefs with each other because there is nothing to talk about.
Actually, there kind of is. Those Unitarian Universalist churches are open to agnostics/atheists. They're open to Buddhists (a non-theistic tradition--they're all atheists), and all kinds of people. There are Lutheran churches here and there that are like that, too---very ecumenical.

I think it is a great idea. Atheist and Agnostic groups are special interest groups which has always been my recommendation for people seeking to meet people to possibly date. You already have common things to talk about and share.

That's not true at all. There are all sorts of atheist and humanist groups. In my area, there is a FACTS church, First Atheist Church of True Science. I've never gone, but my SnugglyBumps used to attend on occasion.
If you are really interested, look for this sort of group on meetup.com. Look for words like "skeptic" and "free-thinker" as well as "atheist", "agnostic", and "humanist" in the title.
You could also attend a Universalist Unitarian church. While some members are theists, some are atheists.
I'm confused about the whole church issue. I'm not a church-goer, so perhaps someone else can educate me.
My view of church is you go, sit down on a bench, listen to the preacher/pastor/minister/priest, and leave.
Where is this social aspect?
