Because I think it seems boring to straightforwardly ask a girl out, do you guys agree or disagree?

Personally I hate it when people play games of cues and subtle meanings. If you want to say something, just say it out straight. But that is just me.

I would rather a guy do it straightforwardly. Ask me out with a specific activity in mind for a specific day, and ask at least two days in advance. I've never been asked out "cleverly," so I can't even imagine what you mean.

Sincerity beats clever, since clever can backfire on you.
But maybe you have to give an example of what you deem 'clever'

sometimes you just have to cut to the chase and ask her out!

If she declines then at least you know both of you stand. Plus even if she declines first time round doesn't mean it's necessarily game over. Another place:another time, might just work

Just ask.

"Clever" is in the eye of the beholder.

Why do you care if it's boring? Are you wanting to tell people an entertaining story later about how you asked someone out?

Asking someone out shouldn't be a youtube worthy event. Just ask.
