That adage makes no sense to me. I figure good men are just as hard/easy to find as good women, so why single out men? Also it takes work to maintain a good relationship or marriage with anyone. I wouldn't call it easy to "keep" a good partner. I don't know what you mean about good ones getting away...the implication is that people don't want to put in the work? I don't really see that.

The question is open ended to answer how you like...and, the "good ones getting away" is more from personal experience.

Seems like based on what? Your observations. I can't argue about what you see, I'm sure you wouldn't lie.
I see a lot of good men being kept, so it seems to me to be the opposite.
