I like snoring; it's rather soothing. If I snored and it bothered him, no I wouldn't be bothered if he slept in another room. I always slept in another room when we had infants, so he could get a decent nights sleep.

Dude, my husband gets up with infants, same as me. Separate bed wouldn't do anything.

Nope. No problem at all. Sleep is precious and necessary for ongoing good health.

LOL @ "snorequake."

My wife has had a few of those.

She has always told me wake her up if it's that bad, after all, it's not good for her heart.

I'm the night owl anyway and he had to be up at 4:30. It worked.

Yes! Snorequake! It's horrible.

Yeah, waking up my bf means something's getting broken, whether it be a glass, or a door..... So throwing change at him, or a small toy usually gets it to stop without fully waking him up.

We can't sleep together. It just doesn't work. One of us is on the couch. We first got together, he was on a 3rd shift schedule. Then I got knocked up, then i was with the baby, and now he snores and I've gotten a bloody nose from his elbow before because of how he spreads out in his sleep. And the snoring, omg his breath is so awful. It fills the whole room he sleeps in. And I toss and turn ALL NIGHT because of my hip problems, which drives him crazy. So, sleeping separately is what's best.

Those soft, spongy ear plugs work fairly good for blocking noise and they are inexpensive. A couple of those and a breathe right strip and you will be all set.

This!! Constantly losing sleep is detrimental to our health, both physical and mental.

If I were the snorer and tried to convince my s/o to stay in the same room with me and lose their sleep, I'd be a very selfish person.

Is snoring bad for your heart, or apnea? (which frequently comes with snoring) He snores, but no apnea; I don't snore, but have apnea if I sleep on my back.

My husband snores and he never used to. I just grab ear plugs and put them in. I won't wake him because he has work, and our bed is so darn comfortable and the room is the darkest, so I won't leave.
