I look real young, people I work with when they find out how old I'm say I thought you were my age 28-35......makes me smile, I still don't have gray hair, or crows feet around my eyes, and I follow no beauty regime. I have adult children and a 2 year old grandson.
I'm 43 and I get mistaken for being younger all the time. I have a 23 year old son and he and I go out dancing together and I am ALWAYS mistaken for being his girlfriend or being his sister. It's both flattering and embarrassing at the same time. Embarrassing because some people make such a big deal about it - they go back to their group and tell everyone "she's his mother!" and then more people come over. I liken it to being the she-male or bearded lady in the circus side show.
when i was in high school, ppl always thought i was a college kid... and a few times when i was around 12 or so i used to get hit on by high school dudes. But now that im 21 ppl have a habit of thinking im like 16 or so. I don't think i look that young... hmph!
I wont brag but yes, there have been many times Ive been in town with one of my daughters and her kids and have been mistaken as her sister, or the kids' mom, or a friend, but not as their grandma.
I'm an old teenager of 57 and I look a young 40 if not younger.
And I feel 16.
I have taken good care of myself and healthy over the years.
And everything still works , ya know what I mean.
I'm a lucky fella.
I dont know.. to me he looked close to his 40's. I would agree with Roamin.. a hair cut and maybe a different style would do wonders. I get told I look much younger.. and much older then I am.. it depends on who you are talking to.. LOL .. oh well.. cant win them all..
I have been mistaken many times for someone much younger than I am. It's not a blessing but a curse as there are many times I want to be taken seriously in my field, or when conducting other types of business. I've had people I casually know pat me on the head or pull my hair like I'm a doll. Usually I get the head pats from men and the hair pulling from women who are taller and bigger than me, which I find absolutely insulting.
