Personally not to be mean or cruel but a woman with varicose veins is a total turn off. I just don't understand why some women refuse to treat their varicose veins.

If you find them a turn-off, don't date someone with them. Simple.

It is not for you to "understand" or to dictate the medical decisions of others.

Because for them they either can't afford treatment or most probable they are fine with it.

I feel the same about bald men who refuse to get painful hair transplants.

Come on! I should be worth the agony of your elective surgery.

The same reason some men refuse to treat their small penises? I guess.

To be honest I had to google varicose veins and apparently you don't get treatment for cosmetic reasons on the NHS. Private treatment is expensive!

Maybe because they don't want to? Maybe they cannot afford to?

Good grief, how vain.

Vericose veins or spider veins? You say vericose but I think maybe you mean spider. I don't think there is much that can be done with true vericose veins short of surgery and that's only in extreme cases.

I've had spider veins on one upper thigh since I was a kid. I first noticed them when I was about 10. I had them treated for a while back in my early 20s, but it's expensive and not covered by insurance since it's cosmetic. And I had to keep taking time off from work to go to a doctor to get the saline shots. Treatment to make them go away is temporary. So why bother wasting all that money and time off over something that most people mistake for a small bruise on my upper thigh? If you didn't want to date me because of it, so be it. That's your prerogative. Plenty of men don't care, including my current boyfriend. I'm just glad I don't have them on my face like some people.
