Actually, it doesn't always work, lol! We've had plenty of women post here over time who say they tried that, and got ignored anyway. If your T is low, and you've completely lost interest, nothing will work, except T-replacement.

Maybe op is missing the point... maybe he's fearful there is a problem with his sperm and he's struggling with anxiety issues. Maybe he's unfortable going to go jerk off at a clinic which he can do at home to provide a sample.

There could be other issues maybe you should just have an honest discussion.

Also low sperm count isn't the only issue.. it could be their physiology (diploid heads?) or their movement abilities.

Also for women frequently fertility issues are around hormone levels (progesterone thyroid issues). Have you been checked specifically for thyroid hormone levels?

My advice is that you SHOULDN'T have a child with a man like this.He doesn't want to work with you on this..and probably other things as well that you haven't mentioned.If you have a child with this person..YOU will be the one doing ALL the work..so you might as well nip that in the bud right now and reevaluate if you really want to have a child with someone who acts like this.He himself sounds like a big baby.

OP you know he is passive and incompetent and yet you married him anyway. I know it's because of his good side that you think you can deal with his bad side and now you are in this situation.

I am leaning on you can't change him. If I were you, I would have come with him on the clinic and make sure he put that you can access the result.

And you better be prepared to do EVERYTHING in this marriage. Since you said all he cares about is his career.

You know this going into the marriage, now deal with it.
