And I think you'd still be annoyed even if she'd remembered to cancel ahead of time. She can't win with you.

I do know. She asked the same way she asked about the Super Bowl. This time I bit. I asked if she wanted to do something. She stood me up.

So if I asked about coming over, she wouldn't have shown. Stands to reason. I guess she gets a kick out of standing me up.

Do you think she was lying and made up this whole scenario just to reject you?

Explain your thought process here.

I believe her son has a health issue. Do I believe she uses it as an excuse to get out of things? Absolutely.

Did she tell you what the health issue is?

You don't make sense. She accepted a date with you. Do you believe people are that cruel and manipulative to just mess with you for no reason?

Or do you believe that you are a special sad snowflake that makes people go out of their way to make and break dates with you?

Which is it?

Why is it so hard to accept the truth in what she tells you?

Are you telling me people don't flake? I drove an hour to see her. I gave her a time. I sent her a text 90 min after she told me she'd text me when she was done that said "I'm leaving soon". I also said I'd never stand her up. It's so rude to stand someone up. No reason for it.

No. I used to get such high interest from her. We went out half a dozen times. Why ask me what I'm doing today, agree to plans, then blow me off? At least I know she isn't a gold digger.

I don't understand the point of this "relationship" either.
