Okay, this is what I don't understand. We've been on 5 dates. She tells me "how she told her mother and family about me" Then I find out when I surprised her at work with coffee and a sandwhich. Her co worker says "I've heard SO much about you". Yes I know people are busy, I'm busy. Everytime she says "Can I let you know". She does sometimes let me know. But other times it's getting down to crunch time and I'm waiting for her and then I ask and then it's "Oh yeah I was busy sorry how about 830".
She said today would be better so when I got off work about 5 minutes later I got a text that said "sorry was. Jay at work. We can hang out tonight possibly...my nephews birthday is today and I told him we would go to the movies and I'm sure he wouldn't mind if you came"
So as you can see I'm really confused at where this is going?
Are these actual dates or are you stalking this girl ? !
Could be she has a lot of things to get done and wants to see if she can get them done to a point where she feels free to go out.
Her suggesting that you could join her and the nephew at the movies sounds like she's happy to fit you in when it's possible.
Frankly, "hanging out" sounds horribly lame and boring.
Some of the most intimate moments I've had with a guy have centered around sitting on my couch with low lights, jazz playing and conversation. And our clothes stayed on the whole time.

To me, it says "friend zone."
