.....now that OP is an adult it is just insulting to their offspring's intelligence and needless. Really, if you haven't raised your child enough to trust know what they want as far as relationships, I don't know what to tell you but being up in their and trying to play matchmaker won't help a thing.
Oh boy, OP, do I hear you on this. I get the same thing from my Dad every other day (give or take) and was all set to rip him a bloody and ragged new orifice until the good people here gave me some tips on how to shrug it off. Have a look at this thread.
'No man is an island,' he likes to remind me. Maybe not, but I'm trying my level best to be an archipelago.

Then the bell rung and it was time to be an adult. Just because a woman gave birth to you doesn't give her the right to play god in someone's love life. Let their kid figure that out themselves. The parent doesn't always know what's best.

A man should be his own man no doubt but a wise man hopefully has grown to realize that not all his decisions may be for the best. A grown man knows enough to at least consider consequences he may not have fully thought through.
I have not a care in the world visiting a third world country myself. Would I care if my mom decided one day to visit one? Hell, yes! Probably try my best to talk her out of it. Changing shoes bring things into a whole new light.
Honestly, I don't see what the big deal is. You have free will to stay single forever if you want. All your family can do is yap, yap, yap about it. Let them. In the end its your decision and there is nothing they can do about it.
Just act like an adult about it and they will respect your choices more. Stop seeking their validation or approval. Show that you are an adult who can make your own adult decisions.
