I put up a fake profile on an OLD site so I could research how these things worked for a piece of writing. I didn't expect a reply, got one and agreed to meet her for lunch because I couldn't think of an excuse not to. It was awful.
It was cool experience in my life. When I first time date with a girl but she was not my girlfriend. The experience was really ridiculous. I was then only 16 years. And my friend was busy in his exam. So he tell me to meet with his GF instead of himself. That moment I can't forget yet.
Maybe late 14, early 15. By 16 I had four semi steady girlfriends spread over three counties. Didn't have a license yet but hitchhiking was common and if all else failed, hop a coal train. Yes, that was common around here in the seventies.
By 17 had a license and was able to get around much better. Was down to three ladies which required some serious juggling and often led to some strange predicaments. Saturday Night Fever had just come out. All three wanted to go see it of course. Third girl, third night in a row to the drive-in. Ticket guy says "Wow, you must really like this movie, third night right?"....
First "girlfriend" I was 12. First serious girlfriend at 15, high school sweetheart that ended in a wreck haha. Haven't been in a serious relationship since I graduated high school.
