Do you prefer that your husband or boyfriend be alpha rather than beta? If so, do you prefer he only be that way in bed, or in general?

Are confidence and assertiveness the qualities you find most attractive/arousing?

No, not generally. I prefer that he be decisive at times, and other times I prefer he let me lead. It's not a one way or the other way thing.

Confidence is fine, but also being able to admit that one doesn't always have all the answers is human. I prefer someone that listens and adapts to various situations. That, to me, is true confidence. Assertiveness can be very off-putting.

There are alpha males who are the strong silent secure types and the pretend alpha males who are insecure deep down but cover it up by trying to be alpha.

Im sure most would find that attractive in a bloke mate but if he's either/or how would he change his personality from one to the other to accommodate?

Out of interest why do you ask?

I prefer the kind of guy who would never use the words Alpha or Beta.

I won't lie if I say that I'm not attracted to an alpha male. They typically stand out and exude manliness, lol.

However, the typical ego that goes along with that personality is something I can't tolerate. So, the answer is "no."

Nope, and nope.

Whoever cares more about something or is affected more by something should have more say. If something isn't important to you then hang back and speak up if it is important to you. Important decisions should be negotiated.

NOBODY gets to be the alpha all the time.

Yes agreed

The best way to separate the two in my opinion are....... The ones that believe they are alpha or pretend to be usually talk themselves up to pretty much whom ever would listen saying things that they believe makes them appear more of a " mans man " or manly and they would empathise this and even try and convince people of it.

Whereas A true alpha doesn't have to
