How do you feel about the different double standards society supports when it comes to gender?

I'm not going to name them because we all know what they are.

I think the white male is the most discriminated against of any group in America. Gender is not something I am concerned about. We are all human beings. It is time to start acting like it stop playing the gender card.

LOL, you can't say this in this current climate, but white men are the most hated group around. LOL..... especially within the white guilt community. It's strange, but it is what it is.

Every group doesn't like white men. Just watch the current media, CNN, MSNBC and just about every other outlet.

I'm not whining about it, but as a group we've been effectively de-balled and can't say jack s anymore. The racist card gets dropped the minute a white man questions anything or makes any kind of comment that can be interpreted as negative toward any group. I mean it's so obvious that if you can't see it I can really continue this conversation because it wouldn't really mean anything at some point.

Yes, there are some gender differences.

I'm not going to whine about getting 80 cents on the dollar though. Hope you can say the same.

Don't **** in my yard and I won't **** in yours
Applies closely to how I feel about double standards in general.

I often wonder how true that is and am by no means saying it's not true. I just wonder if it were true why wouldn't an employer hire more women, just to ease the overhead???

I thought it was funny that Pocahontas paid her male staffers more than the females. LOL... Jeezus what a PR snafu that was. LOL.
