A lot of short guys are quite attractive, but many have a serious complex about their height.
LoL. You have an entire thread on here of women basically saying how unattractive short men are and how they pretty much have no desire to date a man shorter than them - OF COURSE THAT GIVES THEM A COMPLEX ABOUT THEIR HEIGHT!!!
Don't you think you might develop a complex if you were constantly rejected and passed over by someone due to ONE SINGLE TRAIT that you could do nothing about? And that this ONE TRAIT overrode every other thing about you physically and personality wise? That no matter what else was good about you, it wasn't good enough just b/c you weren't tall?
Is it any wonder than that short men have a bit of a complex?? C'mon people.
Another example that I can't understand is David Spade w/ all the hot celebs he's with. Spade is barely 5' even when on his tippy toes, wearing a 10-gal. hat, and if the ruler is having a bad day. He's not terribly rich compared to the other celebs he's humping and yet he's still living the American (man's) dream.
I heard that David Spade is basically a "nice guy" ... and he knows how to listen to women. Somehow, he's parlayed his expertise into getting women into bed.
I'm sure that he could hold seminars on the subject if he wanted.
Actually, I can understand why a woman of Nicole Kidman's height would have passed on someone of Tom Cruise's height--even though they WERE together for a while. I can see how that would be awkward. But to be 5'4" and want a guy over 6'? Why?
I've dated women who SAID that they were taller than me, even though we were both 5'6"...but never anyone over 5'8" definitely. Not that I would mind.
Yeah, I never understood that "defend me" idea - what is up with that? Defend from what? Frogs falling from the sky? What kind of life or attitude does a person have to have that they are worried that they will even need to be defended, or are they just picking the wrong locales? I just don't get it.
This is 2008 - not 1708. That whole "damsel in distress" thing is history.
Men still have bigger muscles...even if they're shorter.
I think short guys can be very sexy, look at Prince, Paul Simon, and Dean Stockwell. I am 5'8" so I was never approached by many short guys, but I have dated guys shorter than I am and had some fun.
Prince? Sexy? Looks like you and I should go man-hunting together!
I think Prince is seriously sexy. I'm not the only one, think about the women he has been with: Kim Basinger, Apalonia, Sherylin Fenn and Sheena Easton. I think a lot of his attractiveness comes from his talent though.
Sigh, no more man hunting for me....
