Im 5'8" which is short but not extremely short but i never blamed my height for lack of women its my lack of being good looking..

How nice. I am about 5'5". Some women usually have the opposite opinion.

Another example that I can't understand is David Spade w/ all the hot celebs he's with. Spade is barely 5' even when on his tippy toes, wearing a 10-gal. hat, and if the ruler is having a bad day. He's not terribly rich compared to the other celebs he's humping and yet he's still living the American (man's) dream.
David Spade is 5'6".

I think I've tossed an opinion on this thread before.

Some women will, but most won't...unless the guy is really, really short.

Generally, a shorter guy will do fine if he's handsome and in good shape...probably even better than a guy of above average height who is not handsome and out of shape.

Just what I've seen. Since I'm 5'-10", I'm smack in the middle of the bell-shaped curve and don't give this topic any thought. But, if I was shorter, I might dwell on it some...

I am the one who is short (at 5'5") . I am in decent shape. I am considered thin at about 125 lbs. For some reason, many women I have known are also turned off by a guy who is somewhat thin. I like the build that I have. The fact is, many women out there don't date men of my build. Some do, many don't. Sometimes, I notice some women who are under 5'1" won't date men under 5'7".

I think a lot of girls/women mentally draw the line when the guys are shorter than themselves. I always preferred guys in the 5'5" to 5'10" category and yet I couldn't handle it when they were shorter than me.

But watching my two much-older brothers was interesting when I was growing up. One was about 6 ft, looked like Armande Assante, and he was quiet and perhaps a bit reserved. The other one was only 5'6" and stocky, with different features. But he was friendly and funny and he exuded confidence, and he drew the females a lot more than the other.

What is so magical about 6'0" anyway? As if a guy who is 5'10" or something is inferior, or too regular, lol...

I'm glad I'm not like 5'3", but I should be about 5'10" actually, if not for my severe bow-leggedness, which is itself something I'm self-conscious about. I don't really pay that much attention to height, as long as it's not extreme...between 5 and 6 feet is fine, really, as long as they're cool with it!
