Do women tend to reject short guys? (experiences, pictures, bald)

I prefer at least 5ft 9" and above because I'm average height and with heels I'm much taller. Hey some women don't mind a shorter man it all depends on who wants you and how your life is supposed to go. In my family you have a few shorter men-taller women couples.
I'm 5'0" and have dated a guy who was 5'4". I work with a guy, also about 5'4", and he is hot.....along with being intelligent and confident. My DH is 5'9", ex DH is over 6'0". Just because a guy is short doesn't make him any less attractive.
I am not short but I know a guy who is and I am wondering do women tend to reject guys like that?

Recent studies indicate that on average women tend to shun men under 5'10" and over 6'2". Go to any dating site and one of the first things a woman will say is: "please be 6' tall."
My Irish Friend Michael Murphy (5'3") gets sex about every 5 years. Several women have told him to his face he ain't gettin' any because he's too short, they don't feel "protected" around him. I always laugh about that, I knew this other Sicilian guy 5'5" that could kill you with one punch, he could really "protect" you. But perception is reality.
Part of the reason women tend to do this is that tall men stand out in a crowd and make their presence known, whereas if a short guy tries to get attention, he is labeled an AW or has a "Napoelon Complex". Tall guys have confidence.
Part of is it subconsious: women want strong children, and they perceive short = weak/inferior genes.
This does not play out the same in certain cultures such as Japan and Ecuador where height is more equal (due to less genetic mixing).

In general, I don't think I have a height preference unless we're talking about extremes. I'm about 5'2" and I'd prefer guys around 5'6" to maybe 6'3". Recently, I was contacted online by a guy who is 5'2" and I thought that was way too short and also by a guy who is 6'6" and I thought that was way too tall.
Im 5"6 and I have dated two guys that were my height and NEVER again will I do that. They were too arrogant. So yes since then I have totally rejected short men.
It depends on the woman. Some women equate height with power and virility. Some women want to have tall children so they only date tall guys. My last 4 boyfriends were my height or 2" taller than me and I am 5'4". When I would wear heels I could look down on my boyfriends. I thought it was kind of funny and they had no problem with it.
