Be gentle I'm new

Heres the thing, I've been told by several girls I've dated that sometimes I can be a arrogant.

I like to think I'm a confident person for the most part. Surely its understandable that occasionally that confidence can spill over to arrogance? I mean there is a fine line sometimes between the two.

Please debate this subject and maybe we can all learn.

Confidence is quiet, arrogance not so much. Confidence is understated at times, arrogance is outspoken. Confidence can be low key, arrogance rarely is.....

You can also hit the "scales" looking symbol in the upper right hand side of a given post. Its' a way for you to leave a message as well. Quick reps as you've discovered are fine but it's better to leave a rep with a message via the scales symbol.

Both arrogant and confident people entail a strong belief in their own abilities. ... Arrogant people usually view themselves as superior and never admit their mistakes.

People who are truly confident have no need to be arrogant.

A confident person doesn't need to convince anyone around them that they are confident. That behavior would be perceived as arrogant.

At least, that's how I see the distinction, and what you see as a fine line I see as a great divide.

Ok. Lets use a celebrity as an example (since we don't know each other here).

I don't know how well you know Tom Cruise but theres a guy that would often cross the line between confident and arrogant I would have thought. See my point?

There will be numerous other celebrity examples. But I dont follow that scene closely.

I know him better than many, and no I don't see your point. What are you thinking of specifically when you cite Tom Cruise as crossing the line between confident and arrogant?
