This.

Messy doesn't automatically equal dirty. One can be disorganized, cluttery, etc., and still adhere to standards of cleanliness. For me, while there is a cutoff on how much clutter I'll tolerate, below that threshold, it just isn't a hill I'm willing to die on, assuming the relationship is otherwise good.

What irks me about clutter, is in order to clean, I have to that chore first. That's what I tell the boys in the house, clean up your clutter so I can do my job and clean.

My aunt cooks it for me during the Holidays. It doesn't store well...at all... goes bad quickly. So I make sure a starve myself days before so I can have my annual fill of the stuff.

I really do like the stuff... even after I was told what it was made of.

I am fairly adventurous with food... I am willing to try almost anything at least once.

Father loves durian fruit as well... OMG.. that smell clears the house. Mom used to yell at him to take it outside. I've had it in frozen form as the smell is no where close to as pungent.

I am also a fan of Korean cuisine as well... I make a weekly visit to my friends house/business for some of her cooking and a beer to wash it down. While I am there, I do a little maintenance for her in return. Oh.. whatever you do, never leave kimchi in your car too long. OMG.... car smelled like kimchi for weeks. lol

We make good use of bins in our home. The kids are less likely to clean up quickly if they have to put things on a shelf rather than just dump them into bins. I personally don't mind things looking cluttered as long as everything is in the appropriate place and everything is clean.

Yes. It amazes me how quickly and profusely clutter accumulates. I can't stand it.
