OP, wow, what a thread! Glad I read through most of it before responding. I know when you started the thread you were trying to find out how others would cope with having a trans spouse. I can't say that I have, but I would be open to it. However, I am pansexual, so I can understand how it's different for a heterosexual woman.
I'm so sorry y'all's relationship isn't working out in the long run. But it sounds like your spouse changed in ways that were unexpected after her transition, aside from the obvious (being female). It sounds like she behaves selfishly and she took you for granted. I'm glad you're doing what's best for you. You gave it everything you could and you have to take care of yourself. Best of luck to you.
Hate to derail this thread, but, no. Y'all = more than one. All y'all = larger group, usually 3+. Virginia here.
I was criticizing using "y'all" to refer to one person. Yes, the more the better. It would sound a bit strange to use that referring to two people as an example. Perhaps I 'splained it poorly. "Y'all" is a group pronoun.

I suggest we quit talking about this. The moderators won't like it. Let's get back to the TG spouse please.

Update: I am all moved into my apartment and just about done unpacking boxes. I didn't realize how much crap I have. LOL
I thank God everyday that I have my dog. She has kept me sane.
The last time I had to go to "her" house was last Sunday to pick up the two classic vehicles I own that were my Dad's. It was awkward as heck but it had to be done.
The "Temporary order" hearing was pushed from today to November 16th. Ugh.
I gave my lawyer a 3,000 dollar retainer and it is almost used up already. Unreal! (and I had to borrow the money from a friend for that 3,000 in the first place)
I just want to fast forward my life to where it gets Fun, Easy going and Relaxing. Is that too much to ask?
HA!
What a drawn-out headache. Hang in there--glad you are moved out and settled elsewhere, at least.
Me too! I'm happy finally---completely
