When starting to date, is it best to get this topic out in the beginning or just go on with the relationship and then announce "I don't want children"...
This wasn't even a thought in my years of dating and then marriage decades ago. It was a given, marriage, children, etc..
What do you young people out there do today....be upfront right away? Or enjoy the ride as long as it lasts.
First thing I discuss with a date is that I am not looking for a b/f much less a husband or children ( at this stage of my life.) I am very upfront about it right from the early stages.
"Enjoying the ride " would be a waste of his time if he was looking for a long term relationship, and wouldn't serve my interests in any way.
I always stated very early, definitely no later than date two that I didn't want children. Of course, OLD makes it really easy as you can state it in the profile.
Perhaps, but nothing ever is written in stone, and people often change their mind - both ways...
True, but for me me as of the present... it is written in stone. Should I change my mind down the road... that would be another discussion.
