On the other hand for guys, our appearance tends to be an afterthought. Instead, we are told that we are to attract women with our personality, our jobs, our money. In fact in some cases, we are even advised against looking good because "looks don't matter". Us guys are more likely to be slovenly. I say, it doesn't hurt to put effort into your appearance, because that is the first thing that anyone with working eyes is going to notice.
I'm a guy who feels like I am already maxing out what I can do to look good:
* I'm extremely fit and get compliments on how fit I look
* I have perfect teeth and whiten them
* I shave on a daily basis
* I wear fitting clothes and choose colors that compliment my appearance
* I don't have any ridiculous hairdo like a man bun
* I take obsessively good care of my skin
Not much else I can do.
So what's the problem? It's that I'm 5'7" and don't have handsome facial features. That is at least 90% of my problem.

Well, I'm similar to you. I'm 6'0", and it doesn't help me. So don't feel too bad about it. You have to be in the right place at the right time, know the right people who can introduce you, catch a woman in between relationships, live in the right city, etc. Too many variables.

I have a friend that is 5'7" and he does just fine with women.
So... are you pursuing any goals?
Another thing I can suggest is to ease up on some of what you do. Maybe you are coming off to others as trying too hard. I find that if I look too good or too put together, that can actually work against me.

So wants the problem? For starters, your entire post is how you appear on the outside.

Huh? How would you know unless you've lived as both a 6'0" guy and a 5'7" guy (with all else being equal)?
