I have a crush on a girl at college and I know she likes me as well due to her friends telling me that she likes me, as well as how she acts around me in general. But last night, I saw something on Facebook that made my heart skip a beat.

She was out with friends and she ended up taking a picture with a celebrity that she met. Let me emphasize that he's not a major celebrity that's known worldwide, but a local celebrity for our state. (Arizona) He's big on Facebook with roughly 40,000 followers and he's known for making comedic videos, speaking at events, traveling the country, etc.

She got her picture with with and she also follows him. The thing I noticed is that she likes a lot of his statuses, and not just thumbs up likes, but using the heart button. This celeb is also around her age and even lives near our area, so now I'm freaking out and worrying that she's going to start falling for this guy and forget about me.

Am I overreacting, or am I right to be worried about this encounter with the celeb? I want to ask her out, but now I'm worried that she doesn't like me anymore and that she's going to star pursuing this other guy. Do you think I'm overreacting? Does it sound like she has legit feelings for him?

How many dates have you been on with her? Are you really threatened by a celebrity fandom?

Yes you're overreacting and yes you need to make a move.

Stop messing around.

I haven't been on any dates with her. We're friends, but we both like each other.

Popular girls who are sociable and into clubbing will say they "like" guys all the time. They are simply keeping their options open. There's a good chance another man will get to her, particularly if he's more funny, muscular, or cocky than you are. Don't obsess over her and if she picks him over you, relax and take it with stride. It will take lots of trial and error for people to learn what their likes and dislikes are. That's what the early and mid 20's are for.

You need to start getting playfully sexual with her if you want to be with her. Be aggressive because the other men circling like lions will be.

If she does choose another man I would stop being her friend personally and not associate with her, but that's just my red pill programming.
