I guess you know now that success isn't in the cards for all of us.
Aren't you the cheery one? I thought it was good of the OP, to try to turn over a new leaf, and push himself out of his comfort zone, to try new things, meet new people. I think he deserves support in that.

I agree. Cliche though it may sound, it still is true that you may experience failure if you try, but if you don't try failure is pretty much guaranteed, isn't it?
It is hard to put yourself "out there" but at least the OP is giving it a shot. And he only needs one success, after all. Well, unless he's looking for player status but I don't think so.

Not player status but I'd like to have some options eventually lol
I'm trying to keep a positive mindset but it's tough..I want love and companionship very much and want to believe I'm not unattractive but all these rejections wear on me

Thanks but I'm now back to hanging out and obsessing over my friend since nothing else is working..
She held my hand a lot inside the bar the other day too when we hung out so I'm back to being confused again ..I already got her a Valentine's Day gift so at this point I might as well go for it no?
I got nothing else going on nor do I ever so why not.

Yes, go for it. It's the only way to find out for sure where she stands. If she suddenly backs off, feel free to let her know (without being too rude) she's been giving out HUGE mixed signals.
But, wait....wasn't the V-Day gift last month? Did you actually give it to her? Remind me (us), how did she react? I've forgotten.

Had a bunch of chocolate covered strawberries delivered to her house..She reacted extremely grateful..I followed that up the following week with asking to go out to eat somewhere with her she never responded to that text but I found out that week that her cousin died so I kinda give her a pass for never getting back to me about it..should I have?

Wow. Weird timing. Isn't this the 2nd time there's been some kind of weird timing getting in the way of your overtures?
Yes, of course, you had no choice but to give her some slack, because of the death in the family. So you're back to Square One: Ambiguity City. So you have to start over. OK. Go for it (again). Report back.
