Tinder and Bumble scientist: Smile in your online dating profile photo - Business Insider
She has a PhD in Sociology...that's not a really a scientist who studies and conducts research in the physical sciences to bring us new discoveries that leads to innovation.

Just saying...

As opposed to physicists, who are renowned for their insights into human behavior

Right, I'll trust a social scientist on social research over a chemist on social science, any day.

Speak for yourself, as a black man myself I am always smiling in my pictures like I just won a free meal at Popeyes

I hear you man, I'm just not getting matches either. My cover photo is great. It's a face closeup outside with good lighting, my teeth and smile look great. I have a clean shave, no coicles under my eyes.

I'm certainly not letting a phone app mess with my serenity. I'm just going to have to learn to make small talk with women at the gas station, grocery, gym, etc. I think I can do it! I just have to find the approach style that is fitting for who I am.

Well there ya go! Payoff!

I'm a white woman. If I smile do I win a free round of golf? I hope not. I hate golf.

I'd rather have the Popeyes.

smiling is always good - as long as you have teeth. If you don't have teeth, a closed-mouth smile works.

I'd be pretty turned off of a dude tricked me into thinking he had teeth but he didn't.

This wouldn't be the same dude who wears a cap in every photo by any chance, would it?
