There is something referred to as being classy and gracious though. I could never even freaking fathom saying no, I won't go out with _____, she is ugly. That would make me a (insert expletive).
It ain’t like she is calling him ugly to his face.
Really man? smh Lol. Is this really that hard? Well, I guess it is, since you're here asking.
You could tell your friend that none of your gf's friends are available. And please dont say you cant lie to him, because you already did by saying hes not ugly 'blah blah blah', as you put it.

A horrible person wouldnsay something like that to someone’s face. I’m not going to debase the humanity of a person just because they have a honest opinion on one’s looks.

Again, no one said anything is wrong about having an opinion. No one. How and when one expresses one's opinion is very much reflective of the quality of their humanity.
OP, once I fixed up one of my sorority sisters with one of my boyfriend's fraternity brothers, and for a while they seemed happy together but then it ended ugly, and it came back to bite me in the butt. After that I swore I'd never fix people up again, and I haven't.
You could tell your friend that your GF said she doesn't want to fix people up, just on general principles, not only him. In fact, you could ask her to say that to you so that when you tell it to him, you won't be lying!
You’re 35-36 years old and you need to make a thread about this? Or do you just like this topic so much? That’s what it looks like....
