regarding the allergic and hospital developments, then him saying "HE" couldn't see "YOU" anymore.

re. him -- SUCH a loss, to you, eh?

anyway -- I was wondering, I'm rather new to this computer chat forum thinggie so it might be that there's a way for me to locate this answ., so please forgive my lack/ knowledge of the system.

what part of the country (basically, which state) did this occur?

I'm horrified for what happened to you on that. You have my support!!!

Okay..I don't date much. One night I was not feeling well, and had a date planned, and did not know the guy very well, so, rather than cancel, which I should have...I went...big mistake.

1. I had "pink eye" and looked terrible, with a cold, no less.
2. I was wearing panty hose, short skirt.

Over dinner, I sneezed, and then the guy told me I had a "boogie" on my nose. Mortification. Then, I went to the ladies room, and some how, managed to put a HUGE snag in my panty hose, that ran down the entire front of my leg. I was such a hot mess on that date...and for some strange reason, he called me again...

My first girlfriend (this being only about a year ago) was a facebook friend. An internet friend of mine, a mid 30's woman, had written, "Go Ike Go!" on my wall in response to me saying I was going to do something.

Apparently this rubbed the girlfriend the wrong way. She got on my case about it. Referred to the lady as an old hag, a kunt, *****, etc. This was while we were eating with her cousin. Me and the cousin were just laughing at her jealous ranting.

This was directly after the date. I was on a first (and last) date with a guy years ago that I met online. He got around 5 RECENT pictures of me, and he just sent me 1 of him that was his face. I don't think I am that into looks so I didn't ask him for anymore pictures or one of his body. We go out and for some reason, I was nervous on this date. Conversation was good until he got angry at me for not being familiar with the work that a chiropractor does as well as being confused with how he would be a medical doctor and not in med. school since he was in chiropractor school. I think there was a Seinfeld or Curb Your Enthusiasm episode actually about the same thing. I could tell that killed the date.

When I got home he said I looked nothing like I did in my pictures even though they were all taken within a few months or less of when I gave them to him. I was upset by that, but then I realized he has been the only guy I have see offline that made a comment liked that or was "disappointed" in how I looked. I thought it was bizarre considering I got 1 picture of him where it was years old..... I though didn't say anything and just ignored his texts.

Another "good" one. A guy on Jdate told me during our date that he just woke up and was high.

My current guy/future ex once told me this on a date:

"You're interested in too many things. You need to dial it back and focus on just one or two interests in life. You'll be a lot happier that way."

Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot; over.

Dating to me is decades ago and I remember little of it. I do and did have fears about how I would fare should I find find the healing I need to move on. Having been out of it for so long I'm not sure how it is done, what is expected, I dont want to dishonor someone by not being proper. I was just kinda figuring that its an opportunity for the girl to see what I am, for me to see her, and if it was right it would all work out somehow. This gives me some small hope. Im pretty sure at my drunken worse I would never say or do anything like these little ditties. That these guys and girls are out there means that at least I should not have the dubious distinction of being the worse date ever. Plus although I seem to have lost the ability to laugh the humor did touch me and for a while I was free.

The nerve of some people.
"Are you single?"

"Yes, only for tonight."

This is WRONG.
