My son is 19 and so he's at the age where he's going out a lot with his friends and meeting girls.

What should I teach him about women and dating?

Given how liberal schools have become, the kid probably already knows more than you ever will.

You're getting a late start.

What have you taught him so far?

It's not something I've really talked to him about. What do you suggest?

Well, have you talked to him about the human body and sexuality? The "birds and the bees"?

Has he been in a co-ed school? Does he have siblings? Does he work part-time? Is he in college?

This is stuff that most parents talk about as their kids grow. Why have you not talked about it before?

Teach him about respect and he'll do fine with women and with people in general.

I guess I should have. Do you have any suggestions?

Teach him to give and expect respect. Everything else will flow from there.

My suggestions depend on the answers to the questions I asked you.

Does he live at home?
