I am surprised how food can be such a problem in relationships. It certainly has not been my experience. I cook most of the time and my wife and I do not sit together for dinner most of the time mostly because our dinner time preferences are different. She likes to eat between 6 and 7pm and I usually dont eat until at least 8 pm or 9 pm I usually cook some type of animal protein and some carb and she either eats or declines and makes herself a salad but then packs a bowl of what I cooked for lunch the next day. We don't eat absolutely the same things but that has never been an issue for us.
I'm just saying...more than likely she's not thinking about you or concerned about you. You shouldn't be either. Instead you started a whole thread in a attempt to shame her. Clearly you're bothered.
She should be shamed for her over the top ignorance. To compare intermittent fasting to an eating disorder is preposterous.
She was a model. An absolutely gorgeous one. One who modeled in Europe and was on several fashion magazine covers.
<snip>
But, my word, going out to eat with her was a nightmare. She couldn't eat this. She couldn't eat that. She was rail thin and would constantly complain about how fat she was getting.
That's not just intermittent fasting- it's downright high maintenance. I do a modified form of intermittent fasting (unlimited green vegetables and moderate amounts of fresh fruit) and I prefer to avoid large pieces of meat, pasta, potatoes, etc. I can still find something I like in most restaurants and relax my rules on special occasions. The rigidity and insecurity of the woman above would wear most people down.

I've yet to meet a man that's VEGAN though.
Met plenty of vegan men. Lots of them in the MMA/BJJ/Krav Maga scene and the hardcore music scene. Very common.
Runningforthieves knows them from the straight edge hardcore scene as well, I suspect, since he overlaps in that group (the username is a homage to a old NYHC band's 2nd record).
