Hey there, I'm atm in a rather complicated situation (or at least that's what I think) and I don't really know what to do and if it's even worth the time. I hope that I'll get some advice here.
So to fully understand all this I need to give some backstory:
I know a Girl for over 2 years now (from an Online Community) and back then we didn't get along. I'm pretty sure we both "hated" each other because of a few reasons, so I often made fun of her, made her angry, etc. (intentional and not) and vise versa (she tried to). Later I left the OC and basically for the next few months I didn't exchange even one message with her. But at the beginning of this year she wrote to me out of nowhere and I was really surprised (she caught me off guard). Obviously I didn't think much of it (thought she just wanted to pis me off or something like that) so I made her clear that I'm not interested in talking with her.
Skip few months later in time and last week she wrote to me again. But this time in another tone.. She told me right off the bat that she got interested in me after I left the OC. She also said that this was her intention at the beginning of the year.
And now here I am, after a few days we still text each other and we get to know each one. She always starts the conversations and from what I can see she is trying to keep them going. And I mean everything would be fine, but as a person that had a few bad experiences in the past and now thinks too much and tries to be realistic I started to doubt her. Well, right off the bat it all looked too fishy for me. Because why would she be interested in someone she didn't even know at all (and still knows only a few things about me) and based on look is just your average Joe (I wouldn't give myself more than 7/10 xd) while herself being gorgeous girl (I wasn't interested in her but it would be a lie if I said that she looked bad lol). And the thing is that why would she wait so long to send me another message if she was already interested in me back then?
I'm really skeptical about all this, I don't want to look like an idiot who falls to a "trap". Because from my perspective the most logical reason for her to text me is that she is just bored and thought it would be fun to tease me or some other reason just to make me look like a fool. I might be overthinking this but as we all know most woman are complicated and I think this is the case
