It could have happened to me, with my ex husband but, I had five brothers who helped me and he knew they would have hurt him if he hurt me so he didn't fight my leaving.

This is why I believe in traditional culture and family values.

But these days a lot of Women (including my sister) tell the Male family members to "Stay out of their business"

Less likelihood Men will pull this when they know there are Male family members ready to step in.
