Definitely, especially among men with money or some kind of power. It's historically been and will probably always be a status symbol.

Yeah, I know a woman in her late 50s, a widow, that's looking for a man to support her lifestyle. I got news for her, no man will want a woman her age to spend money on. Granted she stays in shape. She does look her age, I would think a late 50s man would desire at least 10 years younger than said woman.

Some people don’t date numbers. It’s the chemistry and personality that “does it” for me, and I go with that whether younger, my age, or older.

Yup, I've dated 10 years older to 15 years or so younger, its about chemistry/connection, everything else, meh. I rarely get message by women my age or older on OLD though, which is curious. Most people that message me first on OKC when I'm using it are under 35. Might be a generational thing.

People do lots of things for only their own reasons but I do chuckle when seeing on OLD sites, some mediocre man (and usually much less than that) write that he is "Looking for a beautiful ,sexy, intelligent lady between the ages of....." usually 10 to 15 years younger than himself.

I 've been tempted to message them "Hey, dude, this isn't a letter to Santa site!"

Aren’t you almost 50? So you should have some idea already what this age category is looking for. What do you think?

What I think isn't relative to the post I made. I'm just asking what others think and if they are sharing the same experience as I.
