My lady friend (single Mom with 6 & 7 year old boys) asked me when we were going Xmas shopping for the boys. I said we are going to the store together but you are shopping, I am just paying.......LOL

I told her I would sit in the front of the store and when she reached checkout....just call me over to do my thing.

One would think shopping for a 6 or 7 year old boy would be the best for a man. At least remind you of your childhood and what you would want. I would assume you have not developed any emotional connection with the boys and just worried about your in with momma?

Why not be a positive role model for these young children and engage with them? It sounds like they could use a male figure in their lives that care about them. This is the Christmas season, my gosh. You sound proud of yourself. Sad.
