1. If 18 year old is in HS, then yeah, 21 year old should not as college and HS are worlds apart.
2. Again, question hasn't been answered. Can I have a scenario/example where 18 and 21 is based on a relation that started in HS that was not senior/freshmen?
How about my 19 yr old son dating a co-worker that was still in high school? Do you really think a kid in their first year of college in worlds apart from a high school junior? They aren't. That college freshman still thinks more like a high school kid than like a college senior.
Thread may read a little funny due to two threads being merged.

Some kids don't start kindergarten until age 6. Some are almost 7. Some enter kindergarten at age 4.
There are many possibilities. In college, grade levels don't even really matter anymore since some degree programs take longer, some people don't begin immediately after graduation etc. There are too many variables to give you one absolute answer.
Why does this particular dynamic interest you to this level?
