Sigh

A (male, married, platonic) friend messaged me the other day, asking me what i was up to, i sent him a screen shot of a poem i was reading, his response was. "oh, you're a romantic" like i had a disease or something. His poor wife.

He went on to tell me that in the past, sometimes, coworkers would get together and drink three martinis with their lunch. They would get back late from the lunch hour. I laughed and said, "No." lol

I can't get past the image of Ebenezer Scrooge pacing his room, carrying a burning taper, wearing a sleeping gown and pointy hat (night-cap).

I am always quite amused when people lead with sex for me. I don’t understand. My style is akin to Charlotte’s wardrobe on Sex in the City. No exactly bombshell.
