I found it very awkward honestly, even though I liked the idea. Sure, it sounds nice, someone has a girl in mind that's also single, ok, you piqued my interest. But as someone else said, the execution usually sucks. I have very high standards and most of the people doing the introductions usually knew little about me, so they're assuming I wanted something I didn't actually want. I remember one time, it was a producer of mine, so someone I worked with and didn't want to rock the boat especially about unrelated non-work things. To me, the girl was cute, but that's it, and I wasn't looking for cute, I was looking for gorgeous, I had done cute a few times, and unless the personality was perfect, then it was kind of eh, not worthwhile, not when I could do better. We talked a bit online, briefly, I could tell we had nothing in common whatsoever, she was very religious, and that was that.
You have to be able to attract "gorgeous" for that to work.
